The right speaker for your next event
Sarah Goody has been speaking publicly since she was 12 years old, and she hasn't slowed down since.
What began as sharing her own climate journey in the media and on local panels has grown into an invitation to international stages, where Sarah speaks on youth leadership, climate solutions, mental health, concussion policy, and the deeper mechanics of activism.
Her story is not a tidy one. It spans leading a global youth climate movement, living on an exotic animal sanctuary, battling post-concussion syndrome, and travelling the world to sit with young people asking the hardest questions about purpose, change, and what it means to actually do something.
From that uncommon life, Sarah brings a perspective that is hard to manufacture: what resilience looks like when it isn't optional, what curiosity can do when you let it lead, and how to find meaning - not despite adversity, but inside it.
Sarah’s Speaking Topics Include
Youth Activism - From leading a global movement as a teenager, Sarah knows what it takes to turn passion into action, and how to inspire the next generation to do the same.
Climate Science - Sarah translates complex climate realities into language that moves people, not just to understand the crisis, but to respond to it.
Mental Health - Sarah has been transparent about her own journey navigating depression, OCD, and anxiety from a young age. In a 2019 opinion piece for Teen Vogue, she wrote openly about how climate activism became a lifeline through her battle with suicidal ideation. She speaks on mental health not from the outside, but from the lived, complicated inside of it.
Concussions and TBI -After navigating post-concussion syndrome firsthand, Sarah brings both lived experience and sharp advocacy to one of sport's most urgent and under-discussed issues.
Entrepreneurship - Since her first year at UC Berkeley, Sarah has worked with the Sutardja Center for Entrepreneurship and channelled that foundation into innovating with Climate NOW. She speaks to the messy, nonlinear reality of creating impact-driven work and finding a way forward when there's no roadmap.
Resilience - the kind forged through setbacks, uncertainty, and the quiet decision to keep going anyway. At UC Berkeley, she served as a Teaching Assistant and coordinator for a course dedicated to the subject, and she considers resilience one of the foundational pillars of entrepreneurship, innovation, and social impact.
